They seem to have it all - pretty faces, a glamorous jet-setting lifestyle, lithe figures with legs that seem to go on forever. Men fall all their feet and less fortunate women envy their ability to look good in whatever they wear. So what makes them stand out from dozens of other words, what makes them be successful models ? That there are basically 2 types of models - "those who shine on the catwalk and those who love the camera."
A good catwalk is a girl who not only has the height and a good figure but is one who knows how to project herself through her walk and posture. She must not be a clone. Of course, if a girl has qualities that make her suitable for both the catwalk and the camera, she is more marketable as she can be more versatile.
A lot of factors go into the making of a successful model. A model's success depends a lot on how she maintains herself. She has to keep up with the latest trends in the fashion industry. She also has to be responsible for herself, turn up on time and be turned into the business. She has to be fast, flexible and capable of dealing with any situation. The point is one should not treat a model's job lightly. These days it takes more than physical attributes to make the grade as a model.
