They seem to have it all - pretty faces, a glamorous jet-setting lifestyle, lithe figures with legs that seem to go on forever. Men fall all their feet and less fortunate women envy their ability to look good in whatever they wear.

Of course, if a girl has qualities that make her suitable for both the catwalk and the camera, she is more marketable as she can be more versatile.

A model's success depends a lot on how she maintains herself. She has to keep up with the latest trends in the fashion industry. She also has to be responsible for herself, turn up on time and be turned into the business. She has to be fast, flexible and capable of dealing with any situation.

The point is one should not treat a model's job lightly. These days it takes more than physical attributes to make the grade as a model. Think about that the next time a model is dismissed a nothing but a face and figure.
